This adventure is exciting and very intimidating. I do not feel like an expert in the field of homeschooling. I haven’t written a curriculum or created a program or produced a US President or CEO. However, I have been homeschooling continuously for 21 years so far, and I do feel like I’ve learned a lot along the way, so I wanted to share it somewhere. To learn more about me, click here!
Why the Intentional Tutor? One of the things I have grown into wanting in my life is intentionality. I want what I choose to do to have purpose and meaning and intent. I think we all want that. It’s so hard in the hustle of life. It’s hard to calm down and think through decisions and not be reactive, but here’s to always growing! Tutor because a tutor is a guide. In the program we use for school we call them a lead learner. I just want to share what I’ve learned and experienced, and guess what? After graduating 4 through home school, I still have a 5th grader at home!
I hope to encourage here; that is, encourage moms to rest and give them ideas to complement their home school journey. This is obviously just a momma’s opinion, but there were so many moms that have poured into my home school career and I want to pay it forward. Thanks for joining me. Feel free to find me on instagram and facebook to have a chat!
If you need official information on beginning your home school journey, one of my favorite resources is the HSLDA. Visit their site for legal information for your state. Look for communities in your local area and support groups.
